This is like heaven! This just sums up my neck of the woods. We like our steak and lobster. Its fun to make and fun to eat. It doesn’t sound so simple but it really is.

Ingredients:

Pattie:
2 lbs ground sirloin
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
Few splashes of worcestershire sauce
1/2 white onion diced

Lobster Hollandaise Sauce:
3 eggs yolks
2 tbs lemon juice
2 sticks unsalted butter (melted and clarified)
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
2 lobsters (pre cooked at the super market)
*Hot water if you need to thin the sauce
-you’ll need a blender for this step

Topping:
Boston Lettuce

Buns:
Hot Dog rolls

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl add ground sirloin, salt, pepper and worcestershire sauce. Dice the onion add to bowl and mix everything together. Shape each pattie like a hot dog to fit into the hot dog roll. Put the burgers on the grill now. They will cook for about 15-20 minutes. They go a little quicker because of the shape.

Break down the pre cooked lobsters and place their meat into a seperate bowl. Now check and flip your patties. You’ll make the hollandaise sauce as they cook. Add egg yolks and 1 tbs of lemon juice to blender. Melt the butter in sauce pan till its bubbling (now is the time to clarify the butter if not already done.) Mix the ingredients in the blender on highfor several seconds. Remove center cap and stream in hot butter slowly with blender still running. When the sauce is frothy and light yellow its done. If the sauce is to thick add a very little amount of hot water at a time to loosen. Now add salt, pepper and a little more lemon juice if needed. Add sauce to lobster and mix together.

Check pattie and if done push to sides of grill and toast buns.

To assemble place one leaf of lettuce to bottom, then pattie and spoon the sauce ontop. YUM YUM!
