Mrs. Potato Head’s Avocado Potato Salad Bun Spread

1/2 cup fresh ripe Hass Avocado, sliced and finely diced
1/4 cup Hormel Premium Real Crumbled Bacon
1 medium fresh ripe Hass Avocado, seeded, skin removed, and chopped
Optional 1/4 cup diced onions (some family member’s like onions and some do not)
1/2 teaspoons salt, or to your personal taste
1/2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper or to your personal taste

The Potato Heads Family’s Favorite Burger Finishers

6 sandwich potato rolls, burger sliced
3 tablespoons butter, soften to room temperature
6 crisp iceberg lettuce leafs, cut burger size
18-24 dill pickle slices
6 large fresh ripe tomato thin slices
A dash salt and pepper to the tomatoes or to your personal taste

Instructions:

Preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat.

Gently blend together the ground Chuck with the wine, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and form 6 equal patties slightly larger than the buns. Brush the grill with the olive oil. Place the patties on the grill for 5-7 minutes on each side or to your preferred doneness. Place a slice of cheese on each patty with 2-3 minutes left to cook, keep the lid closed as much as possible.

In a large bowl, combine the deli potato salad, Avocado, bacon, (you may add the optional onions), salt, and pepper, and blend and mash together to form a paste to create your bun spread.

Spread the buns with the butter and put on the grill when you add the cheese to the patties to reach a light golden brown.

Spread the Avocado/potato salad evenly on the insides of the toasted bun. Place a lettuce leaf on the bun bottom; add some pickle slices (as many as you prefer), top with a (lightly salt and peppered to your personal preference) tomato slice on each. Place a cheeseburger patty on next, cover with the bun top, and serve.
