I always cook with lean ground beef. In doing so, it leaves hamburgers without a lot of flavor. Each time I make hamburgers I try to make them the best ones ever just by adding extra ingredients. I think I finally succeded and I believe the bacon bits are the key.
1 lb. lean ground beef 1
cup shredded colby jack cheese
1 pkg. of dry ranch dressing
1/4 cup minced onion
s 1 3oz. pkg. of real bacon bits
Mix first five ingredients thoroughly. Shape into 4 patties. Sprinkle with seasoned, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Grill slowly until no longer pink in the middle.
My six children (well the five that can eat) are picky eaters. They all love this recipe and my husband thinks it's just about the best he's ever tasted.
