MEDITERRANEAN ALFREDO BURGERS

Ingredients

Lemon wine Alfredo sauce
.75 cup-Salted butter
6 tablespoons-Grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon-Chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons-Sutter Home Sauvignon Blanc
6 tablespoons-Sour cream
Juice of 1 Lemon
1 teaspoon-Freshly ground black pepper
2 cloves-Finely chopped garlic
Garlic Bread
3 teaspoon-Chopped fresh oregano
6 tablespoons- Colavita extra virgin olive oil
3 teaspoon-Grated parmesan cheese
3 teaspoon-Chopped fresh basil
9 cloves-Finely chopped garlic
Patties
1.75 pounds-Freshly ground chuck
.25 pounds-Chopped snow crab meat ( Put in as much juice as possible)
1 teaspoon-Chopped fresh Oregano
3 tablespoons-Colavita extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons-Grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon-Chopped fresh basil
Juice of 1 Lemon
1 Vidalia onion finely chopped
2 teaspoons-Salt
2 teaspoons-Freshly ground black pepper
2 cloves-Finely chopped garlic
1 Egg
3 cups-Italian seasoned bread crumbs
6 Italian Kaiser sandwich rolls with sesame seeds, split

 

Instructions

Preheat a gas grill to medium-high. To make the sauce combine all of the ingredients in a large fireproof non-stick skillet and mix well. Cook on the grill for 3 minutes while stirring. Set aside. To prepare the bread combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. After the bread has been split use a brush to equally distribute the mixture from the bowl onto the halves. Set aside. To make the patties, combine all of the ingredients accept for 2 cups of the bread crumbs in a large bowl. Get as much crab meat juice as possible into the bowl. Mix well. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form the portions to be about the same diameter of the bread. Take a shallow pan and put the 2 cups of bread crumbs in it. Lightly coat each patty with the bread crumbs. Set aside. Brush the grill rack with Colavita extra virgin olive oil. Place the patties on the rack, cover, and cook about 3 minutes. Turn the patties. Put equal portions of the sauce on each pattie, cover, and cook about 6 minutes. During the last minute of cooking, place the garlic bread, cut side down, on the outer edges of the rack to toast evenly and lightly. To assemble the burgers, on each bread bottom, place a patty. Add the bread tops and serve. Makes 6 burgers
