Mama Marla's Mouthwatering Mushroom Burger

My family loves hamburgers. So to mix it up and keep it fresh, I have started creating my own signature burgers. For my son's graduation party I had three different distinct burgers. They were hit.


3lbs of fresh Ground Chuck
8 oz can chopped mushrooms (drained)
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1 tblsp of each: thyme basil dill garlic (minced, chopped, or powdered) fennel seed oregano
1 egg (if needed)
italian corn bread crumbs (if needed)


In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the egg and bread crumbs. Use your hands (clean)and mix it all together. If the consistancy is too dry and crumbly add the egg and bread crumbs to pull it all together. Form 12 quarter pound burgers Grill on prepared barbeque, these burgers are best when cooked to a med/well consistancy. Serve on warm/toasted kaiser roll Dress as desired


I love to cook for my family and since we live on a strict budget, making fresh burgers has ended up being cheaper and tastier than anything you can get from a box.
