Little Italy Burger

Ingredients 

2 lb ground chuck
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
6 slices smoked provolone cheese
6 slices of pancetta
6 ciabatta rolls, split
6 lettuce leaves
6 tomato slices
6 red onion slices
4 oz. Alouette garlic herb cheese

Instructions 

Mix ground chuck, salt, pepper ,and parmesan cheese together. Make into 6 patties.

Start Gas Grill. OIl grill grates using a brush and canola oil. Place 6 burgers on grill. Cook burgers over medium for 4 to 5 minutes and turn over. Add pancetta to grill. Cook burgers and pancetta another 3 to 4 minutes. Add smoked provolone cheese slices to tops of burgers and melt cheese for 1 minute. Remove burgers and pancetta to tray. Toast ciabatta rolls on grill for 1 minute and remove. Spread a thin layer of garlic herb cheese on bottom ciabbatta roll, then add lettuce, tomato, red onion, burger, and pancetta. Spread top of ciabatta roll with garlic herb cheese to top off the burger.
