Juicy Red Wine Burgers
This is such an easy recipe. Once I started making my burgers this way, I have never made a plain ground meat burger again. Here goes!
1lb. ground beef (lean)
1/2 c. Sutter Home Cabernet (or other cab or merlot)
1/4 seasoned bread crumbs
1-2 tablespoons of Greek Seasoning
Sharp Cheddar cheese slices
In a large bowl add chopped meat, red wine and bread crumbs. Mix with hands and add more bread crumbs/red wine if not firm enough. Then add Greek Seasoning and mix again. Form into patties. Grill on high to get patty charred on both sides, then turn grill to low to heat the rest of the way through. Add a slab of sharp cheddar cheese on top. Put on your favorite roll. Yummy!
This burger recipe can be doubled for more burgers. The red wine really makes the burgers juicy. It's so good!
