Chenin Blanc

This wine is bursting with crisp, refreshing fruit flavors like apple, pear, and melon, making you want to swing your legs off a dock at sunset.

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. black beans (drained and rinsed)
2 diced jalapenos
1 sliced jalapeno
salt
pepper
sprinkle garlic powder
1 t. olive oil
cheddar cheese (or pepperjack) slices
good hamburger buns

Instructions

Add the beef, diced jalapenos, and semi-mashed black beans, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a bowl. Mix thoroughly. Form into patties (approx. 4, depending on size). Put the sliced jalapeno in foil with a sprinkle of salt and about 1 t. olive oil. Close foil tightly and put on grill (upper shelf, if you can). Grill burgers 'til done. Melt one slice of cheese on each patty. Open foil (w/ jalapeno in it) and put slices of jalepeno on top of cheese. Place on bun & enjoy! You can always add any fixin' you want . . .onion, lettuce, you name it! We enjoy them with nothin' but the japs and cheese . . . and a glass of Sutter Home wine, of course!
