Jack Black and Blue Burger

Ingredients

Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
2 tblspn. Tennessee Whiskey
1/2 tsp. ancho chili powder
Burger:
1 lb. ground sirloin
1/2 lb ground pork
3 ozs. crumbled blue cheese
3 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. country dijon mustard
1/4 cup finely diced onion
1/2 med onion sliced thin
2 tsp. olive oil
1/4 cup Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cracked pepper
1 tblspn. New Orleans Blend Magic Seasoning salt
Garnish:
Thin sliced tomatoes
Green leaf lettuce
Bun:
Grilled Onion Roll

 

Instructions

Mix all ingredients for sauce until smooth and chill for 2 hrs. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Mix sirloin, pork,blue cheese,worcestershire sauce,mustard,diced onion,salt pepper and seasoning salt in a bowl until blended completely. Seperate into 1/2 lb. patties. Heat 3qt. s/s saute pan until hot and put hamburgers in pan seperated evenly. Sear on each side about 3-5 minutes and put pan into pre-heted oven turning burgers every few minutes until they reach 155 degrees. In seperate saute pan heat olive oil and saute sliced onions until translucent then add Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon Into pan and saute until carmelized then reduce heat to keep warm. Place cooked burgers on grilled onion roll and top with carmelized onions and drizzle with blue cheese dipping sauce. Garnish with lettuce and tomatoes
