"Its All In There" Beacon Burger

This burger uas invented while attending THE Ohio State University. On a very limited budget and half empty fridge, we wanted to cook out after a Buckeye football win, SO every thing we found in the fridge went into the burger. We did not even have buns, just my veggie girl friend Pita bread. Who would have throught.

Ingredients 

1lb ground beef 85%lean or (now that im out of school,ground round or chuck)
1pk of lipton dry onion soup
1 egg
1/4 cup Genuis Beer or Sutter Home Merlot
1tsp Grey Poupon
1/2 tsp salt 
1 tsp corse black pepper
8 slices Deli or thick cut bacon 
1/4 cup of crumbled bleu chesse
5- pita breads cut in half and opended
1/4 tsp Olive Oil

Instructions 

EASY!!!!! Mix meat with all ingredients except beacon, olive oil and bread. Cover, place in fridge for 30 min. Cook beacon (crispy). Place 1/4 tsp of olive oil on coffee cup dish spread out oil. take meat out of fridge roll into balls than spread out on coffee cup dish to make perfect pattys. Cook on grill to liking. Place in pita bread (or on buns) top with beacon and enjoy. lettuce, tomatoe, mayo and jalopenos are my toppings

Its been 20 some years since those college football saturdays. Somethings never change, cant wait for college football!! By the way the one thing that did change was my VEGGIE girl friend, I now have a meat loving football fan girl friend!!!!
