Italian Shroom Burgers

I like creating new ways to fix a hamburger. I enjoy cooking and I love trying new recipes out on my family. I hope that you enjoy this recipe as good as we do.

1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 pkg. good seasons dry italian dressing mix
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms(chopped)
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 tablespoons chopped onions
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
coarse salt(to your taste)
6 slices smoked provolone cheese
6 large seeded burger buns
lettuce leaves,
tomato slices,
onion slices(optional)
(your taste preference) mustard,

Heat gas grill to 300 degrees Mix first six ingredients in large bowl until well mixed. Form into six large patties. Take a pastry brush dipped in the olive oil and brush on the patties. Place the patties on a plate and sprinkle on the coarse salt. Place the patties on the grill. Sear on the first side for approx. 10 min. Turn over and sear on the other side for approx. 10 min. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer or a knife by making sure there is no more pink in the middle. Place the cheese on top of the burgers. Place the burgers on a clean plate. Heat the buns on the grill for about one min. Take off the grill and put your burger together. Enjoy.

I enjoy grilling out in the summer. My family and myself love the taste that we get when we grill outside. I also like not getting the house hot in the summer. We love this recipe for a variation in taste.
