Italian Popeye Burger
I have a burger that was built to please Popeye and yet add deliciuous taste to any recipe.
Ground Beef (leaner the better)
1 Lb. Spinach (Fresh)
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1/4 Cup (Grated)
Sutterhome Chardonay 1/4 Cup
1 tsp. Oregano(if fresh double)
1/2 tsp. Basil (if fresh double)
1 tsp. Garlic (fresh 1/2 clove)
Kosher salt and pepper to taste (fresh ground works best)
Mix together and patty out...top with a little pepper and kosher salt. Grill or fry to desired tempurature. Enjoy with an Itallian dressing and whole wheat bun with a little fresh spinach or top with regular toppings. (ketchup, mustard, etc.) And the remainder of the Sutterhome Chardonay and marinated tomatoes with parmesan and balsamic vinegar. Enjoy
For best results us charchol grill and fresh spinach and parmesan cheese grated. Enjoy some of the wine while the coals are getting ready.
