Island Burger

Hard to pronounce yet easy to drink, this wine combines lychee fruit and white peach flavors with a hint of spice.

Ingredients

3 lbs. Lean Hamburger
1/2 c. Worcestershire Sauce
2 T Jerk seasoning
1 T Dried Orange Peel
1 t. onion powder
1 T and 1/2 c. lime juice
2 med cucumber
1/4 c. white wine vinegar
dash of celery salt
dash of ginger
Potato bread buns
Fresh or canned pineapple rings F
resh spinach leaves

 

Instructions

1. Blend together hamburger, worchester sauce, jerk seasoning, dried orange peel, onion powder, and 1 T. lime juice. 2. Pat hamburger into 4 in patties 3. Peel and slice 2 med. cucumbers. 4. Stir together 1/2 c. lime juice, white wine vinegar, celery salt, and ginger. 5. Marinate cucumbers in lime juice mixture. 6. Lightly toast potato buns in warm oven. 7. Grill hamburger patties until well done. 8. Lightly grill pineapple rings. 9. Layer hamburger, grilled pineapple, marinated cucumber, and fresh spinach leaves on top toasted potato buns.
