Hill Country Hamburger
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 lb lean ground beef
1 lb ground venison
1 egg
1 Tbs minced garlic
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
8 slices swiss cheese
8 pieces romaine lettuce washed
2 avocados sliced
1/2 sweet onion thinly sliced
8 onion rolls, halved
low fat mayonaise
Instructions
In a medium bowl combine brown sugar, ketchup and soy sauce. Mix until smooth and divide. Mix the beef and venison, egg, garlic, pepper, and salt. Add 1/2 of sugar mixture to meat. Make 8 even sized patties and store in regfrigerator until patties are firm. Bake or grill at 375 degrees for 15 minutes on each side, or until done all the way through. Baste the patties with the remaining sauce throughout the baking process. Toast the onion rolls and spread with low fat mayonaise, top with cheese, avacodo, lettuce and onion. Serve with favorite chip or fries
