Hello, My name is Stephen and my close friends call me Hen. Some of them have told me that my burgers are the best that they have ever had. I'll let you be the judge.
1/4 pound extra fat ground beef;
hand full of french fried onions;
clove garlic, chopped;
one egg yolk;
following ingredients are all a pinch:
any type bread crumbs
slice of Swiss cheese and slice of tomato;
two slices thick french bread.
In a bowl you will need your ground beef, egg yolk, french fried onions, salt, pepper, bread crumbs and garlic. Hand mix just to incorporate all the ingredients. Heat up your grill before you form your burger patty. Form patty in an oval about 1/4 inch thick. Now you are ready to grill.
You will want to use fatty ground beef so you will not have a dry burger. Make sure that your grill, pan, etc.. are hot so that you sear the out side of burger and keep the juices in. Butter and grill your french bread while burger is still cooking. Remove bread from grill and place slice cheese on warm bread, add burger and slice tomato. I prefer my burger medium well, cook to desired temperature. Enjoy!!
