Healthy Burger

I made up this healthy recipe and we enjoy these tremendously with a glass of Sutter Wine. It's a winner!


1 lb 90% Fat free ground beef
2 tsp Grilling Blends
1/2 C wheat germ
1 egg white
1/2 C coursley grated onion
2 Tbsp salsa
1/2 tsp hot sauce
 2 Tbsp chopped parsley
1/2 coursely grated avocado


Combine ingredients in a large bowl in order given. Mix gently till well combined. Allow to rest a few minutes. Divide into four equal parts. Shape each into a patty and roll gently between hands. Place on a lightly oiled piece of tin foil. Preheat grill to medium high (350') if grilling outdoors. After burgers are seared,(about 5 minutes) , turn over carefullyand grill till done to desired doneness. These also cook great on on inside grill like a George Forman Grill. They can also be fried in frying pan, about 5 minutes on each side in a nonstick pan over medium high heat. Serve on a whole wheat roll with desired condiments and a glass of Sutter wine.
