Hawaiian meets Southwest

Hawaiian meets Southwest introduces you to a hamburger with succulent juices and a dash of oomph. Most hamburgers have marinated sauces added, while this hamburger relies on a little help with nature, Kelp ashes. The Kelp retains the juices from the hamburger making the hamburger unbelievably juicy. The dash of oomph comes from the course black pepper and ground red pepper.


2 lbs of Hamburger
2 Tbl of Kelp/Kelp Ashes
2 Tsp of Course Black Pepper
1 Tsp of Ground Red Pepper
2 Tsp of Dill Seed
2 Tsp of Course Garlic Salt
2 Tsp of course Salt
1 Tsp of Paprika


Mix the dry ingredients with the hamburger very well. Form 1/4 Lb hamburgers into 5" rounds. Barbeque the hamburgers to desired dones. About 1 minute before removal of the hamburger, add Pepper Jack Cheese and Pineapple slices on top of the hamburger. Add additional condiments for desired taste. Makes approximately 8 hamburgers.
