Traditional harvest ingredients like apples, raisins, and spices are found in mincemeat, which is the quick base for these deliciously different burgers!
1 cup soft white bread crumbs (about 2 slices bread)
1 1/3 cups (one-half of 27 ounce jar) ready-to-use mincemeat
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
6 slices bacon, crisply cooked
2 granny smith apples, cored and thinly sliced
6 english muffins, split and toasted
In medium bowl, combine bread crumbs, mincemeat, dry onion soup, egg, and ground beef. Mix well. Shape into 6 patties. Grill on med-high heat until no longer pink, approximately 15-20 minutes. Toast english muffins on grill when burgers are nearly done. Place 1 burger on bottom halves of english muffins. Top with apple slices and 1 piece of bacon. Top with english muffin halves. Enjoy!
