Grilled Mediterranean Turkey Burgers

This is a delicious alternative to typical beef burgers. Now, it's the only way I make burgers. I've yet to have anyone complain because they are not beef.

1 lb. Ground Turkey
1 lb. Ground White Meat Turkey
1 Sweet Onion, diced
8 oz Feta, Crumbled
1 Roasted red pepper, julienne
2 T. Pesto
2 T Oregano (I prefer fresh, but you can use dried)
Salt and pepper, to taste. Rolls
(Sub style)

Combine the turkey, and mix. Add the remaining ingredients and thoroughly mix. Form patties into long ovals to match the rolls. Grill until browned and temp at 165°F.

Make sure the feta in finely crumbled, as well as the onions, finely diced. This will help to keep the burgers together. Here is an alternative I make. Substitute stone ground mustard for the pesto and long strips of sharp white cheddar for the feta. When shaping the burgers, I make 2 small patties, place the cheddar in between to create a "stuffed" burger.
