Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey meat
1/3 cup mayonnaise
juice of one lime
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
1 clove garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Sliced monterey jack cheese
1 can whole green chiles, sliced
1 ripe avocado, sliced
torn lettuce
sliced tomato
Whole wheat hamburger buns

Instructions

Season ground turkey with salt and pepper and form into four equal sized patties, about a half an inch thick. Place in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Combine mayonnaise, lime juice, cumin, garlic, and chipotle pepper in a blender and puree until smooth. Season with salt and pepper, set aside. Preheat BBQ to high. Remove turkey patties from freezer and coat each side with non-stick cooking spray. Cook over high heat on the BBQ for about 5 minutes on each side or until burgers are cooked through and no pink remains. During last two minutes of cooking, top with cheese slices. Serve on toasted whole wheat buns with 1 Tablespoon chipotle mayonaise, green chile slices, avocado slices, lettuce and tomato.
