Greek Style Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

Cooking Spray for Grills
1 1/2lbs. Ground Dark Turkey Meat
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
1 tbsp. Dried Oregano
2 Tbsps. Garlic Hummus
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 Gloves Garlic, pressed
1 tsp Paprika
1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
3/4 Feta Cheese, crumbled
1/2 Cup Plain Bread Crumbs
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1 (12oz) Jar Roasted Red Pepper, drained
1 Bag of Prewashed ready to eat Baby Spinach
1 Large Red Onion Sliced
1 (11.1 oz) Jar Pitted Kalamata Olives, drained
1 Bag of Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns

 

Instructions

Spray grill with cooking spray. Preheat gas grill on medium-high flame. While grill is warming up, place drained roasted pepper, mayo and dash of black pepper in blender and puree until blended but slightly chunky (about 8-10 seconds), set aside. In a large bowl, combine turkey and all other ingredients except pepper-mayo, olives, spinach and onion. Mix well with your hands and make into 6-8 patties. Place patties on preheated grill and cook for 12-15 minutes using medium-high flame,flipping over patties half way through cook time. Patties should be golden brown on the outside. Place cooked patties on one half of bun. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of Pepper-Mayo on other half. Add several baby spinach leaves, red onion rings and halved olives. Combine both halves, press down and enjoy!
