Its eazy to make and full of flavor.
1 pound 8oz of ground beef (805/20%)
8 oz crushed feta cheese
one cup greek style yougurt
half cup chick peas chopped fine
half cup chopped cucumber
10 mint leaves chopped
10 oregano leaves chopped
one tsp lemon rind
one tsp dill fresh chopped
salt & pepper
hamburger buns (6)
mix beef (sometimes I use half beef half lamb), feta and chopped oregano. Combine well, and shape into 4 oz burgers. then fresh ground a good amount of black pepper. Place both sides of the burger in the pepper. Then grill the burger,cook it the way you like. While the burger is cooking mix yourgurt, chick peas, cucumber,mint leaves, lemon rind and dill salt to taste When th burgers are done bun up put the sauce on and sliced tomato.
This burger is good with a nice red wine. It is full of flavor.
