Great Lakes Burger

Burgers! The Great American get together staple. With all the hype for eating healthier, the Great Lakes Burger combines the traditional taste of burger with the health benefits of fish. The Great Lakes Burger is sure to become a family tradition.


1 lbs. ground chuck
1 lbs. canned salmon (home made is best)
1 cup italian bread crumbs
2 eggs
*1/4 cup sweet onions (optional)
lemon juice from one lemon


Mix together ground chuck, canned salmon, bread crumbs, eggs, and onions. Pat out into hamburger paties. Grill hamburgers until desired doneness. Brush top of burgers with lemon juice and again when burgers are flipped over.


Yum! Yum! Serveon whole wheat buns with mayonaise, leaf lettuce, and fresh home grown tomatoes.
