Gooey Bleu Burger

I live in Washington Mo., with my husband and three children. I am an avid griller all year roung. The most bizzare thing I have ever grilled was a Guiness Beer Cake. I will try to grill anything once. All of my friends tell me I should cater, or open a restaurant, but I dont want to spend evenings and weekends away from my kids while they are young. Plus, cooking is my way to relieve stress and wind down. My kids are starting to pick up my love of cooking. P.S. Charcoal is the only way to grill!!


1 stick unsalted butter at room temp
8 oz bleu cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
Fresh cracked black pepper
1 lb. ground sirloin
1/2 lb ground chuck
1/2 c. Steak Marinade/sauce
Wood chips soaked in water


Combine 1st four ingred. Set aside. Combine ingred. for burger. Divide into four equal portions. Take a portion of the bleu cheese butter and form a burger around it. Grill burger until desired degree of doneness. Right before burgers are done, toast buns.
