Gigantic Mushroom Swiss Stuffed Burgers

Ingredients

Ingredients:

3 lbs ground beef,
1 jar of sliced mushrooms (size of jar depends on how much you like mushrooms),
1 egg,
1 onion,
1 tablestpon Salt,
1 tablespoon Pepper,
1 1/2 tablesppon Garlic powder,
1 teaspoon Mustard powder,
1 8oz block of Swiss cheese,
2 tablespoon A1 sauce,
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce,
1 cup bread crumbs,
3 tablespoons butter,
6 Large Hamburger Buns

 

Instructions

Directions:

Prepare your grill and heat the coles to medium-high heat. Chop up your onion very small. Cut the Swiss cheese into small squares. Combine the ground beef, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, mustard powder, A1, Worcestershire, and bread crumbs. Mix very well and shape into 12 medium patties. Add swiss cheese squares and mushrooms to middle of two patties and form together very well squeezing the sides so nothing leaks out. Place the patties on the grill and let them cook for 5-7 minutes on each side. DO not press the patties down, the stuffing will leak out.While there cooking, put 2-3 tablespoons butter in a sauce pan. Add onions and mushrooms, then sautee over medium heat until onions are soft and translucent. Once the onions are ready, add some cheese to the mix. When the patties are cooked to your likeing, move off direct heat and top with the mushroom & onion mixture. Serve hot on soft hamburger buns.
