Feta Turkey Burgers
My husband and I try to eat healthly as we can. This is one of our favorite alternatives to a beef burger. I have grilled or broiled (with Minnesota being cold in the winter) this burger and it has been yummy either way. I use a low-cal whole wheat bun and then dress it up with lettuce, onion and tomato. Also mustard or mayo helps! A very good low-cal burger.
1 lb. ground turkey
4-6 oz. feta cheese chopped scallions
1 T chopped basil
1 T chopped mint
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of all spice
Lite Whole Wheat buns
Mix first 8 ingredients and make into patties. Grill or broil your patties until done inside. Grill your buns for about a minute or until lightly toasted. Add your favorite's and you have a healthy alternative to a beef burger.
