Erika's Burgers - The Best. Period.

Living in the Dallas area there are so many fine restaurants but, I have yet to taste a burger that is more juicy and flavorful than mine. My burgers are the best ever! People are always asking me to make them, and it definately keeps a Man happy, ladies. Although this burger recipe is competing for $50,000, it absolutely is priceless. Enjoy! Erika, Arlington, TX

1 lb ground chuck
1 lb Sausage
1/2 cup Worcestershire
1/2 cup Sutter Home Merlot
1/2 cup dried minced onion
1/4 cup Season Salt
1/4 cup Ground Pepper
1 ounce of Love

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Cover and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes. Pre heat grill on high and cover, while preparing patties. Adjust heat setting on grill to low heat, place patties on grill, NOT directly on flame. Cook uncovered. Flip burgers frequently till the patty is dark amber in color.

If the  Worcestershire Sauce or Sutter Home Merlot was absorbed too quickly or, there are some dry spots in the meat, add more of either or both. If you add too much, no worries, use the excess for basting while grilling. For an alternative to the basic condiments, I recommend Thick & Chunky Salsa.
