Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

Ingredients

2.25 Pounds Ground chuck
.75 pounds Spanish style chorizo
6 cloves of garlic
8 ounces of jarred roasted red peppers
4 ounces of sun dried tomatoes
18 spanish olives
6 toothpicks
3 tablespoons paprika
Kosher salt and pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
12 slices of buttered garlic style bread
18 ounces Manchego cheese- shredded

 

Instructions

Cut and dice chorizo
Add paprkia to chuck and diced chorizo and form into 6 patties.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Grill patties until internal temp. reaches 160 degrees.

Spread:
Add following ingredients into food processor- prepared ahead of time if allowed:
Drained roasted red peppers
Sun dried tomatoes
6 garlic cloves
12 olives
Olive oil

Grill garlic bread buttered side down for 2-3 minutes
Layer ingredients as follows:
1 slice of bread, butter side up
1 hamburger patty
3 ounces of cheese
Spread heaping tablespoon(s) or so of the spread onto 2nd slice of bread
Place bread on top of sandwich
Place one olive with toothpick in sandwich
