Curry Burger

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.

Ingredients

2-1/4 lbs. of sirloin fresh ground
1- small onion chopped
3/4 tablespoon of curry
1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce
2 tablesponns of Sutterhome Cabernet
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 teaspoon olive oil 
6 leaf of boston lettuce
 6 sesame bun
mustard
red onion

 

Instructions

the chopped onion needs to be sauteed in tne olive oil until golden yellow, then mix the following ingredients in a mixing bowl: sauteed onions, ground sirlion, curry, worchestershire sauce, eggs, wine, bread crumbs, salt. It is best to mix the ingredients by hand . . . this way you be sure to get a homogeneous blend of all the indregients. . . . cover the bowel and place in the refrigerator until your gas grill is at about 350 degrees. This mix will make 6-6oz. burgers. Cook the burgers for about 4 to 5 mins. on each side. Make sure to turn the burgers often so that they do not burn . . . lighly toast a sesame bun and spread a light covering of mustard(any kind) on one side of the bun and the place a boston lettuce leaf and a thin slice of raw red onion and of course the famous curry burger . . .
