Cream Cheese Honey Mustard Burger

Ingredients

4oz of softened cream cheese
4 tablespoons Honey Mustard
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon of Honey
2 pounds of ground sirloin
1 tablespoon dry mustard powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons of Worchestershire Sauce
sea salt
black pepper
Canola oil for the grill
6 slices of Monetary Jack Cheese
1 can of French’s Fried Onions
6 Kaiser Rolls

 

Instructions

For the Cream Cheese Honey Mustard Sauce – in a bowl combine softened cream cheese, mustard and 1 tablespoon honey and mix until combined. Then set aside. For the patties – in a large bowl combine meat, mustard powder, garlic powder, Worchestershire sauce, 1/4 cup honey, and salt and pepper. Then divide into 6 portions and make into patties about bun size. Brush the grill with oil. Then place the patties on the grill over medium-heat and cover, cook for about 5 minutes per side cook until the doneness you like. Once the patties are done place 1 slices of cheese on top and melt, then place on a plate add a generous portion of the fried onions and cover with foil to allow to rest for a few minutes (do not let the foil touch the cheese) For the Buns – Lightly brush the buns with oil and place buns cut side down on the grill to lightly grill keep a close eye on them not to let them burn. Then set aside. To assemble – on the bottom bun place the burger then on the top bun spread about 1 tablespoon of sauce the place the top bun and serve.
