chipolte blue cheese lime burger

This is a cross of some of the flavors found in my Mother in law's authentic mexican and spanish cuisine, with the best flavors for burgers and sandwitches. I stumbled on this recepie when I ran of my normal ingredients for burgers and got a little creative. The heat and spice of the chipolte seasoning and red pepper, is very well accented by the blue cheese crumbles and marinated onions, I am sure you are going to love it.

3 Cloves minced fresh Garlic
3 Table Spoons of Tabsco Chipolte Sauce
1 Table Spoon  Montreal Seasoning
4 Table Spoons Steak zesty steak sauce
2 Tablespoons of worchester sauce
1 Teaspoon crushed red pepper
3 Tables spoons Pinot Noir
1 Lb. of ground beef
1 an oil for grill
1 Pack of pepper crusted bacon
1 Large Vidallia Onion
2 Limes
1 Head leaf lettuce
1 Large Tomato
 1 Package Blue Cheese crumbles
1 Pack of Sour dough burger buns.
1 Table spoon Mayonaise

First start by mixing the minced garlic, chipolte tabasco, montreal seasoning, A-1 zesty steak sauce, worchester sauce, crushed red pepper and Pinot Noir in a mixing bowl. Once the ingredients are well mixed add one pound of lean ground beef, and massage all the ingredients in to the beef before making patties. Make sure that the beef and all ingredients are well mixed before forming patties. Start you grill and let the coals come up to temerature, oil the grill and put on the patties we made from the mixture above. Cook the patties until desired degree of color, I prefer medium to medium welldone. While the burger are cooking slice the onions, tomatoes, and cut up the lettuce for the burgers. Take the onions and place them in a tupperware or other sealable container. Next slice limes into quarters and squeeze juice into the container with the onions. Shake the onions in the juice until well covered and let sit. Once burgers have reach desired state of cooking, remove from grill. Top with blue cheeze crumbles, pepper crusted bacon, lettuce and lime marinated onions. Top the buns mayonaise and some A-1 zesty steak sauce then serve.

This is a great flavord burger the heat from the crushed red pepper and chipolte sauce is balanced well and complimented by the cream cool texture of the blue cheese. The twinge of citrus flavor that come from the Lime marinated vidallia onions bring the entire recipe together, and makes a slightly sweet and spicy burger that famialy a friends will love.
