Start by taking a plastic storage bag and placing the chips inside the bag and seal. Use a rolling pin or any flat heavy object to crunch the chips into pieces the size of small cornflakes. Use a large mixing bowl to combine your ingredients. First measure the red wine and place in bowl along with 1/2 ranch seasoning packet. Stir until disolved, then add the dijon. Mix until forms a paste. Add minced shallots, ground beef, crunched potatoe chips and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Divide meat muxture into 4 patties, shape into rounds and let rest in the fridge until ready for grilling. Take out of the fridge 15 minutes before grilling. Grill to your favorite temperature, medium to medium rare works well with this burger. Heat your buns on the grill open face and serve immediately after done. Choose your favorite condiments. Dijon, mayonaise, leafy lettuce and tomatoe tastes great! You won't need the cheese for this yummy beefy buddy!
