Chili Ranch Gobblers

Pairs well with:

White Zinfandel

With strawberry and melon essences, this American original is perfectly at home with however you like to unwind.

Ingredients

Chili Sauce:
4 oz. Mayonnaise
1 tsp.Hot Chili Sauce
1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
Patties:
2 pounds Ground Turkey
1 medium Jalapeño, finely chopped
1 packet (2 oz.)  Ranch Mix
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
Vegetable oil, for greasing grill
2 medium Yellow Bell Peppers, sliced 1/4 inch thick
2 medium Red Bell Peppers, sliced 1/4 inch thick
6 Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns
6 slices Pepper Jack Cheese
3/4 cup diced green onions

 

Instructions

For Chili Sauce, combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, and cayenne pepper in small bowl. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate until serving. For patties, Mix ground turkey, jalapeño, ranch mix, salt, pepper and cayenne in large bowl until thoroughly combined. Divide mixture into 6 even parts and form each into a patty. Heat grill to medium-high heat and carefully grease grates with vegetable oil. Place patties on direct heat and yellow and red bell pepper slices on indirect heat, cooking 6 minutes on each side. During last 2 minutes of cooking place hamburger buns, cut side down on edges of grill. Place one slice of cheese on each patty, cover grill for remaining cooking time. To assemble burgers, generously spread chili sauce over cut sides of buns. On each bun bottom place 2 tablespoons green onion, patty, one slice yellow bell pepper and one slice red pepper. Top with Bun tops and serve.
