Carmella's Special Burger
This recipe is the one I always use when making burgers either on the grill or on the stove. I receive many comments about them being the best burgers they have ever tasted. The key to a juicy burger is to never press the bugers down when you flip it. That''s when you loss all the juice from the meat. I own a cafe and a catering business, when we do barbuqes for our clients they always request Carmella's Special Burgers.
1/2 cup Italian Bread crumbs
2 teaspoons Canadian Steak Seasoning
1/2 cup favorite barbque sauce
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon Pepper and Garlic Seasoning
1/3 cup White Zinfandel Wine
(sometimes I add a packet of onion soup mix)
Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Shape into patties 1 in thick and about 4 inches round. Place on grill or fry in a non-stick pan. Do not press down when you flip them. (that's when you loss all the juices in the burger.) Top with your favorite cheese. Place on a roll lines with lettuce and tomatoes. Spread roll with catsup, mayo or your choice of dressing. Enjoy!
