We always grill these burgers whenever we go camping. It's ALWAYS a big winner with everyone who eats them.
1/2 lb ground sirloin
1/2 lb ground chuck
1/4 lg ground pork
1 small envelope dry ranch dressing mix
salt & pepper to taste
1 small purple onion sliced and sauteed
garlic powder to taste
slice of swiss or mozarella cheese
burger Butter hamburger bun of choice - lightly toasted. (Fresh buns from bakery shop always better.)
Homegrown creole tomatoes that have been peeled and sliced.
mix first 5 ingredients and shape into burger that is slightly larger than bun. Cook burger on grill until desire doneness achieved. Top with sauteed onion. Spread butter (use real butter)& garlic powder on bun and place on grill to toast. Remove bread from grill and place burger, onions and sliced cheese. Sliced tomatoes can be added if desired.
Lettuce and pickels can also be added although my family does not care for them.
