Cajun Pork Loin Burgers
This is a great American Burger because it has a Cajun flare with the red pepper flakes and garlic.Not too spicy and very juicy.
2 pounds fresh ground pork loin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried garlic flakes
Trim fat from the pork loin. Cut into pieces and grind using a medium blade for grinding. Mix all ingredients and let set for one half hour. Form into patties and grill at 450 degrees for ten minutes. Do not over cook or meat will be dry. Serves 6-8.
I came up with this recipe after trimming a pork tenderloin to roast. I did not want to waste the lean meat so I ground it up and made burgers with it. It has been a hit with my family every since.
