Bon Giorno! This Bruscetta topped burger is sure to spice up you next soiree! Manga!
2lbs 85% lean Beef
2T shaved romano cheese
1t black pepper
handful of diced sundried tomatoes
1t Grey Poupon mustard
handful of diced fresh parsley
1/2 cup of Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon
2 cups diced roma tomatoes (for topping)
2 cups diced sweet onions (for topping)
1 cup Colavita extra virgin olive oil (for topping mixture)
1 cup diced fresh basil
Place meat in bowl. Add cheese, salt, pepper and sundried tomatoes. Spoon in mustard. Toss in parsley. Pour in wine. Mix with clean hands. Lightly brush grill with olive oil Grill to desired temp over charcoal grill. Drain burgers on clean paper towels. Place on lightly toasted italian bread. Spoon bruscetta mixture (Diced Roma tomatoes, sweet onions and fresh basil mixed with olive oil) on top. Serve immediately with a glass of wine Bon Appetite!
If you do not care for the consistency of the sundried tomatoes the recipe works equally well with mushrooms.
