Buffalo Chicken Burger

I have always loved Buffalo chicken wings. This recipe brings the taste of a Buffalo wing to a burger. Just like a Buffalo wing, this burger can get a little messy - don't forget the wet wipes!


1 pound ground chicken
6 tablespoons of hot sauce
2/3 cup mayonaisse
1 large stalk of celery, chopped fine
1 and 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
4 buns, cut
oil to brush grill rack


1. Get grill and coals ready. 2. Light coals. 3. Put ground chicken in a bowl and thoroughly mix in 3 tablespoons of hot sauce. Chill for 10 minutes. 4. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, chopped celery, and celery salt. Chill. 5. Take the ground chicken and form 4 burger patties. 6. When coals are ready, brush rack with oil, and put patties on the rack. Cook patties for 5 minutes. While patties are grilling, spread the mayonnaise mixture on the inside top of each bun. 7. Cook patties on the other side for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, brush each chicken patty with remaining hot sauce. Cook for one more minute. Add crumbled blue cheese to each on top of each patty. 8. Remove chicken patties and put one on each bun. 9. Eat and enjoy.
