Using fresh ingredients is key to this recipe. Heavy flame in the grill may burn garlic in the pesto ; )
1 jar Pesto
2 lbs 70% lean Ground Beef
6-8 tsp Butter
1 sweet Vadalia Onion, sliced thin
2 fresh vine ripe tomatoes, sliced thick
1/2 cup Mayo
Mix the hamburger with the pesto and pattie out. Should make approximately 6-8 burgers. Place patties on grill and cook until medium to medium well. Spread a 1/2 tsp of butter on inside of each bun. Place the buns inside down on grill and toast for 3-4 minutes. Build Burger by speading 1/2 Tbs of Mayo on indside of each bun. Add an onion slice and a tomato slice. Add a Burger and serve!
