Bruce's Zinburger

I have been grilling burgers with this recipe for many years. I have always used Sutter Home White Zinfandel as my Secret Ingredient and everyone loves my hamburgers! Cooking is my favorite hobby, and I love to experiment.


1. 2 to 3 lbs ground chuck
2. 1 tsp Season All
3. 2 cloves chopped garlic
4. 1 tsp onion powder
5. 1 tsp spicy seasoning
6. 1/2 tsp black or white pepper
7. 1 tsp Steak Seasoning
8. 1/4 cup Sutter Home White Zinfandel
9. 1/4 cup olive oil
10. 1/4 cup Worcestershire


1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well. 2. Form patties that are about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick and approximately 4 inches round 3. Grill burgers until medium well or well done 4. Serve on a Kaiser Bun with lettuce, tomato, Vidalia onion, Colby cheese and your choice of condiments


This burger is very easy to prepare and always grills up moist and full of flavor. You can vary the recipe by using different types of Sutter Home Wines to enrich the flavor of the burger. You can also use various types of cheese (as preferred by your guests).
