Born to Run New Jersey Burger

Tired of burgers being dry.

1 clove garlic,minced
4 tbs catsup
2 tbs of steak sauce
2 tbs worcestershire sauce
2 tsp of sugar
2 tsp of cooking oil
4-6 dashes of hot pepper sauce
2 tsp of vinegar
1 1/2 lbs of lean ground beef
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
6 Hawaiian Sweet Sandwich Buns
6 American cheese slices
6 lettuce leaves
6 tomato slices
6 onion slices
6 pickle slices

For sauce, in a small saucepan combine first 8 ingredients. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; set aside.

In medium mixing bowl combine ground beef, salt and pepper; mix well. Shape meat mixture into 6 3/4 inch thick patties.

Grill meat on grill directly over medium heat for 14 to 18 minutes uncovered turning once halfway through grilling time and brushing frequently with sauce.

To serve, split and toast the buns on the grill. Serve patties in buns with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle.

My family and friends love these burgers! They are always asking how I get them to stay so moist!

You can make the sauce ahead of time and chill up to 24 hours.
