Blue Cheese Raspberry Walnut Burger
My girlfriend Shay, she's a health nut always making different creative salads and always needing to boost her protein level. Shay this burger is for you!
3 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup Kens Steaks House lite Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette
Â½ cup blue cheese
2 cups butter lettuce
1/4 cup quartered red seedless grapes
4 tablespoons rough chopped walnuts
Â¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
6 tablespoons Kens Steaks House lite Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette
6 fresh Kaiser Rolls
24 Â¼ inch sliced of peeled red apple
Â¼ cup of crumbled blue cheese
Vegetable Oil to oil grill
To make the patties, combine all of the ingredients together in a large bowl, mixing together well to make sure all ingredients are evenly distributed. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions and form into patties. Set aside to continue marinating until grilling time.
Heat the grill to medium about 325 degrees. When the grill is ready, with a cloth towel, rub the grill rack with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the patties on the rack and close grill lid. After cooking for 5 minutes, the top of the patty should look like it has cooked a little. Flip patties, close the lid and continue cooking another 5. Do not push down on the patty because this will release the juices. Remove the patties from the grill and place the sliced buns, cut side down, on the outer edges of the rack to toast lightly.
To make Salad for the burger, combine all of the ingredients together just before assembling the burgers.
To assemble the burgers, place 1/3 cup of salad to the bottom of the bun and top with the burger and then 4 slices of apple and 1 tablespoon crumbled blue cheese. Add the top of the Bun and enjoy!
