Bloody Mary Burger

I love the spicy sweet taste of Bloody Mary's, and thought that I would try to re-create that in a burger. I experimented with them and tried them out with friends who loved them! The ingredients are simple, but really result in a tasty juicy burger that anyone would enjoy!

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
1 slice of bread, toasted and crumbed
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/3 cup V8
1-2 dashes hot sauce
oil for grill grate
6 slices monterey jack cheese
6 hamburger buns
butter
red onion slices
tomato slices
dill pickle slices
ketchup
mustard

Instructions

Mix the ground chuck, bread crumbs, onion soup mix, V8 and hot sauce just until combined. Divide mixture into 6 large "meatballs" and flatten into patties. Lightly oil the grill grate and pre-heat at high heat. Place patties on the grill and turn heat to medium low. Turn patties after about 5 minutes and grill until done, about 5-10 minutes more. Top each hot patty with a slice of the monterey jack cheese. Butter each half of the hamburger buns and grill on very low heat for a minute or two. Serve burgers topped with lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, and ketchup and mustard if desired!

I tried making these without the onion soup mix, and it just doesn't cut it!
