Bet your booty black bean burgers

Pairs well with:

With strawberry and melon essences, this American original is perfectly at home with however you like to unwind.

Ingredients

1 can of black beans, rinsed and drained
1/4 cup of scallions, diced
1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
1/2 cup salsa, any variety
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon of any flavor hot sauce
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro vegetable oil

 

Instructions

Put all ingredients, except the oil, in a food processor and process until lumpy. Shape into patties. If frying, coat the pan sparingly with oil and fry over a medium heat for about 5 minutes per side. If broiling, brush the patties with oil and place under broiler for 2-3 minutes on each side. If grilling, brush the grill with oil so that the burgers don't stick and grill until heated through, about 3 minutes per side.
