Baby "Bella" Bacon Cheeseburger
I work in Kennett Square, Pa. which is dubbed the "Mushroom Capital of the World" so I figured I had to come up with some kind of a mushroom cheeseburger to represent the town. I also garden and have a large variety of fresh herbs and vegetables so I was able to incorporate my home grown favorites into this recipe. It was great fun having my friends and co-workers try it out and offer their opinions. I hope that you enjoy it as well.

My husband and I are avid BBQ/grillers. We are also avid wine drinkers. I tend to be on the white side while he likes the Merlots and Cabernets. A burger doesn't have to be just cheese and ketchup, although that's the classic way, and it was fun to think of an upscale version of the usual mushroom cheese burger. I have always wanted to come out to Napa Valley but have never been able to "find the time" owning my own business. I would just love being selected to participate to have part of my wishes come true, winning anything would be the icing on the cake so they say. Thank you for considering my entry and I will have a glass of wine and wait to hear from you!! Thanks!!
