The Fall Season, which is a wonderful but fleeting season in Florida

Ingredients:

2 pounds of regular ground beef
6 slices of thick cut bacon
6 slices of thick cut sharp cheddar cheese
6 French style hamburger buns
1 Granny smith apple @ 4 tablespoons of grated skin
1 large red onion
2 tablespoons of light brown sugar
1/2 cup @ 4 teaspoons@ 3 tablespoons of apple cider
3/4 cup of Kraft Original BBQ Sauce(or favorite brand)
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon of hot Hungarian paprika
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
1 teaspoon of caraway seeds
2 1/2 tablespoons of grated yellow onion
4 finely grated garlic cloves
1 1/2 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoon of apple pie spice
1 teaspoon of Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper

Instructions:

Part One: Creating the Basting Sauce
step 1: combine 3/4 cup of BBQ sauce, 1/2 cup of apple cider, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, 1 teaspoon of Hungarian hot paprika, 1 teaspoon of thyme, and 1 teaspoon of caraway seeds in a bowl and whisk until well mixed
step 2: set aside 3 tablespoon of the basting sauce in a separate bowl
step 3: cover and refridgerate both bowls
Part Two: Preparing the Brown Sugar and Apple Cider Bacon
step 1: rub 2 tablespoons of light brown sugar on both sides of the 6 slices of thick cut bacon
step 2: place bacon in a cast iron skillet and add 4 teaspoons of apple cider
step 3: cook opver medium low heatturning bacon frequently for 10-15 minutes until semi-crisp
Part 3: Meat Mixture
step 1: over a mixing bowl, finely grate 2 1/2 tablespoons of yellow onion,finely grate 4 tablespoons of granny smith apple skin, finely grate 4 cloves of garlic and add to the bowl
step 2: add 1 1/2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons of apple pie spice, 1 te4aspoon of kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper, 3 tablespoons of apple cider, and 2 pounds of ground beef and mix well
step 3: cover and refridgerate for 45 minutes
Part 4: cooking the burgers
step one: adjust the gas grill to medium heat
step 2: create 6 1/3 pound hamburger patties from the meat mixture and place on the grill
step 3: cook for 10 minutes on one side and baste with the basting sauce
step 4: flip burgers and cook and baste for another 10 minutes
step 5: remove burgers from grill and while burgers rest, slice 6 large slices of red onion, slice the hamburger buns, prepare cheddar cheese, and ready the reserve basting sauce
Part 5: Assembly and Serving
step 1: peel 1 granny smith apple cut in half and create 6 thin apple slices
step 2: brush the inside top of the buns with the reserved basting sauce
step 3: place burger on bottom bun, top with granny smith apple slice, red onion slices, bacon slice, cheddar cheese slice and serve
