My Arrabiata Sauced Lasagna

Ingredients:

2 cups water
2 1/2 cups vegetable oil
12 Tablespoons unsaltd butter
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
3 Lasagna Noodles
2 pounds 80/20 Ground Beef
2 Tablespoons dried oregano
2 Tablespoons dried thyme
2 Tablespoons dried basil
3 Tablespoons kosher salt
6 slices mozzarella cheese
6 Focaccia Buns
12 oz. Patter Fam Arrabiata Sauce
6 Tablespoons fresh basil – chiffonade

Instructions:

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot over high heat on the grill. Begin heating vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat until it reaches 350 degrees. Melt the butter over medium heat and add the garlic to create a garlic butter.
Cook the lasagna noodles in the boiling water until soft (approximately 10 minutes). Remove to a paper towel to dry.
While water is heating for the lasagna prepare the ground beef by mixing the oregano, thyme and dried basil into the meat. Form the burgers into 1/3 pound patties and season with 1 tsp. of kosher salt each.
Cut each noodle in half. When the oil reaches 350 degrees flash fry them for approximately 2 minutes or until light brown. Remove to a paper towel and salt each noodle with 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt. Set noodle aside.
Cook each burger to medium doneness over medium high heat (approximately 12 minutes). Near the end of the cooking time place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each burger.
Prepare the focaccia bun by brushing the inside of each bun with the garlic butter. Toast on the grill until browned.
Assemble the burger by placing the burger on the bottom slice of focaccia cheese side up. Place the fried lasagna noodle on top of the cheese. Spoon 2 Tablespoons of Patter Fam Arrabiata Sauce over the noodle and garnish with 1 Tablespoon of fresh basil.
