ABC burger

I am calling my burger entry: The ABC Burger which stands for Asparagus & Brie Cheese. I hope you enjoy.

Ingredients 

Cabernet Carmelized Onions:
2-large red onions,peeled,halved and sliced thin.
1-tabelspoon Colavita olive oil
2-tablespoon salted butter
1/3 cup-white sugar
1/2cup- Sutter Home Cabernet Grilled
Asparagus:
24 pieces standard asparagus cut into -4" stalks
2 tablespoon Colavita olive oil
Brie Cheese:
2-1oz. slices per burger (12) total
Patties:
3lb. ground chuck
2-tabelspoon minced fresh garlic
2-tabelspoon Montreal Steak Seasoning
1/3 cup chopped fresh tarragon
3 tablespoon Grey Poupon mustard
Rolls:
6- Fresh baked Kaiser rolls
6-tabelspoons Grey Poupon mustard
6-teaspoons Colavita olive oil

Instructions 

Preheat gas grill to medium high heat, or charcoal grill to medium hot fire with a cover. To prepare Cabernet onions, heat fire resistant large saute pan for two minutes or until slightly smoking, add olive oil and butter once butter is melted add onions and sugar stirring to evenly coat onions with oil butter mixture and sugar. Saute for 5-7 minutes or until carmelization starts, then deglaze with cabernet. Reduce wine until light syrup consistency. Remove from heat and reserve. Grilled Asparagus: Toss asparagus spears in olive oil and place directly on grill. Grill for 3-5 minutes or until al- dente being careful not to burn or char aspargus. Remove from heat and reserve. Brie: Slice brie in 1oz slices 12 total slices needed. 2 per burger.reserve Patties: Combine ground chuck, minced fresh garlic, Montreal Steak Seasoning, chopped tarragon, and Grey Poupon mustard. Mix thouroughly,yet careful not to overwork. Divide into six 8oz patties aproximately 1" thick to fit kaiser roll. Rolls: Slice rolls in half. Spread Grey Poupon mustard on inside of top and bottom rolls 1-tabelspoon per roll. Then brush one teaspoon of Colavita olive oil over top of each roll. Prepare the ABC Burger: Brush the grill rack with vegtable oil. Place patties on grill rack. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Open grill and flip burgers once, shut lid cook additional 5 minutes or until desired temperture is reached . Reopen grill lid place Cabernet onions on top of each burger patty dividing onions equally, then place 4 spears of asparagus on top of onions, add two slices of brie per burger. Place top and bottom of rolls cut side down on grill rack. Shut grill lid and cook 2-3 minutes or until brie is melted and rolls are lightly toasted careful not to over char mustard. To assemble the ABC burger Remove patties and rolls from grill, Place burger on bottom half of roll and place top half slightly off to the side of the burger, showcasing the perfectly melted brie.
