’Tis the season for a comfortingly hot, satisfyingly sweet drink that warms you up from the inside out. Made with a splash of our Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon, our Ho-Ho-Ho Red Wine Cocoa is an all-grown-up favorite that’s primed for the holidays and perfect for winter.

Imagine creamy swirls of chocolate that mingle with our classic red, topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon. Whether you’re making up a single serving or sharing an entire batch, this festive drink is sure to leave everyone smiling and satisfied.

Single Serving Ingredients:

•1 cup whole milk
•¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate bar, or sweetened cocoa powder
•½ cup Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon
•1 can whipped cream
•1 bottle chocolate syrup
•Ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and cinnamon sticks for garnish

Batch Ingredients (6-8 Servings):

•6 cups whole milk
•1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate
•1 bottle Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon
•1 can whipped cream
•1 bottle chocolate syrup
•Ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and cinnamon sticks for garnish

Directions:

Over medium heat, warm milk and melt chocolate thoroughly, stirring often. Reduce heat to low and stir in Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon until all ingredients are mixed well.

To serve, pour into mug, top with whipped cream, drizzle with chocolate syrup, and sprinkle a pinch of ground nutmeg or cinnamon. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
