Pinjur and Curry Burgers

Wine Varietal: Merlot

Combines Midwest beef with exotic flavors of India, representing the melting pot of America.


1.5 pounds ground sirloin
1.0 pounds ground chuck
.5 pounds ground lamb
2 tablespoons of cumin
2 tablespoon’s of red curry powder
salt and pepper
1 jar of pinjur sauce
1/2 bunch fresh, cleaned spinach leaves
1 cup greek style yogurt
6 medium-large sized naan bread


Combine meats , cumin and curry. Form into 6 patties.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Turn and grill patties until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.

Place naan bread on grill 1 minute per side

Slice 6 nann bread’s in half.
Place 1 tablespoon of yogurt in each bread section.
Add 1 teaspoon of pinjur sauce
Cut each burger in half.
Place each halved burger in a naan bread section.
Top with 1 teaspoon on yogurt
Top with 2 tablespoons of pinjur sauce.
